I'm Maya Haley the owner of Butterfly Creations. I grew up here in Tucson, Az and with frequent trips to Mt. Lemmon, I developed an early love of nature. Getting to share my love of this town and the deserts unappreciated beauty with all of you is my favorite part of what I do.

I make one of a kind, pressed floral jewelry. No flower is the same, and that makes each piece all the more special. I collect the flowers and plants from the nature I am surrounded by every day. Such as wildflowers along the roads, native plants that line the washes, flowers in the grocery store parking lots, trees that sit in my front yard, or sometimes even flowers from my own garden. I press them in books, and once they are dried, I use them to add in my jewelry. Every piece is different and that means the technique is never the same. Sometimes i use the whole flowers, sometimes I crush up the petals and leaves, and sometimes I dismantle the plant and use pieces of it.
